Not fussy but the service in here is terrible, observed over 3/4 visits in the past few months. Half way through a meal recently the waitress told us we had to go up to the bar for drinks, place was not even that busy.

Poor service, not for the first time. 20minutes to get a drink at the bar, ran out of glasses and then certain beers (Ireland match on) but should of planned / staffed the bar appropriately. Food was good when arrived - chicken board (wings / chicken strips / onion rings /chips).

Went with a largish group of friends and had a thoroughly interesting enjoyable evening. The choice of beers is a little off the mainstream but that makes it all the more interesting. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

We went to look at a soccer match On big screen. Great beers, good variety. The food looks ok too and good prices.

very busy pub for a Monday evening but despite this we were served promptly by a very cheerful young lady. Good food but we left promptly after eating as the ManU v Liverpool match was on on serveral TVs but we got what we wanted good quality food.

One of the Galway Bay Brewery pubs. Stocks all of their core range (stormy port, buried at sea, full sail, bay ale) two of their pilot brew taps, plus a few other breweries wares. Beer prices are probably a little above average for the area. There is an off-licence on premise but I did not have time to investigate further.... More

we arrived Saturday evening 7 PM in Thurles, and this was the closest restaurant (less than 10 miles away). 2 Dining rooms were fully booked (wedding maybe?). Bar seating full. Took over and hour to be seated and served, despite many poepl still sitting at tables well done their meals. . Staff were nice, but this was a crazy busy... More

This place reminds of a great London Gastropub, very casual but attention to detail where it matters, namely the selection of beers and the service.

I entertained my daughter and son in law to dinner here on a Friday night last month. Surprisingly there were only a few of us in the pub, but the atmosphere was excellent and if I had been with a date it would have been quite romantic. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, this pub offers a meal for two for... More

Really great spot if you like craft beers, the food is also really good-stake dinner for 2 with a bucket of delicious chicken wings and a bottle of wine (or a pitcher of craft beer) for a 40 quid, can't go wrong! Staff very friendly and knowledgeable about craft beer and breweries in Ireland.
