Really loved the 6 course meal with paired wines. Portions are small as other reviews state, but really the flavours and the imagination with presentation more than make up for that. We were seated close to kitchen, so able to watch the chefs at close hand creating all the dishes. One of our group would have liked both the chocolate... More

Revisited Forest Ave following a wonderful experience last year. Choose the tasting menu ,which started with a series of excellent amuse bouche as a prelude to the actual menu. No need to recite the menu as it would insufficiently describe the complexity and creativity of the composition of flavors, texture and presentation of each course. Veal tartare, agnolotti, halibut ,and duck were... More

Food was fantastic and very good value at €55. For that you get bread and dips, 3 interesting "snacks" all delicious, 4 courses one better than the next and petite fours. You can drink as much sparkling water as you want for €1 which is a nice touch. The only downside is if your a picky eater as there's only... More

Probably the best meal I have ever eaten and my mother ( a hardcore foodie) agreed. An absolute must. The ambience, wonderful staff and decor are just 3 big cherries on top. Outstanding. Excited for our next visit. Well done again Forest Avenue.

Forest Avenue is full Michelin starred standard dining (at least one star, if not heading towards two star), at less than Michelin one starred prices (c. 45 euros per head for three courses and intermittent tasters, but ex. alcohol). They way they mange this is by giving smaller portions, a more casual service, and a more restricted menu (just two... More

We opted for the tasting menu which consists of a series of small meals interspersed with little mouthfuls of eclectic deliciousness.. Just go. It's a brilliant place for a romantic dinner.

The room is pleasant in an unsophisticated way. There is reasonable choice on the lunch menu (three each of the starter and main course and two for the dessert). The preprandial nibbles are of very good quality, as was my starter of agnolotti with a rich creamy mushroom sauce. My main course of short rib of beef was also very... More

Really cool, 26 seat restaurant where most diners sit at the bar.....terrific and friendly service, nice wine selection and a very creative 45 euro prix fix menu with a few choices for each course.....our meal was very rich and sometimes overly styled, but the foie gras tart, potato bread w/ bacon cream and the pasta with cauliflower were very tasty...enjoyed... We picked this restaurant for a birthday dinner with friends after recommendations from a number of other friends. The restaurant is split over 2 levels with plenty of room between tables which means people are not packed in which is always nice. When we arrived we were greeted by one of the staff who, unfortunately, didn't seem like she was... More

We ate there on Saturday night and both agreed that this was our most enjoyable dining experience for a long, long time. I had eaten there on a few occasions at lunch time, but with young kids at home we were just never able to get a weekend table at short notice, so we were looking forward to our night... More
