I'd read so many great things online about Leo Burdock's fish and chips, so when we passed one, I suggested we go there for lunch. The fish and chips were soggy/oily and only a few parts of the fish were crispy (I think they might cook it in batches). This is probably a solid spot for late night food after... More

Best chips in the world! Couldn't get enough, quick service, friendly staff, and delicious food. Especially amazing if you ask for 'chips with bits'

My girlfriend insisted that we visit this place because so many famous people have been here (that's your 1st clue !) to sample the amazing fish and chips. Arrived at about 9:30 PM on 4/11/17. Only one person was manning the shop and he basically communicated with garbled language which sounded more like grunts. Seemed like he was pisssed that... More

Visited the Howth shop for an evening meal and was very taken by the quality of the food. The fish was perfectly cooked and my wife's prawns were highly recommended by her. Well worth a visit

We really enjoyed out experience at Leo Burdock's. Don't expect anything fancy. Very simple tables, seat yourself. And not many so it's pretty small. You have to go up to order and the guys who work there will tease you if the need calls for it. They gave my husband a ribbing because he wasn't sure how to order and... More

I can't believe I wasted my time and money on the supposed best fish and chips in Dublin. It was horrible. Way too greasy and over cooked, especially when you can go down the street to Gallagher's Boxty and have a wonderful meal for essentially the same price, and a lot better atmosphere.

I enjoyed the fish and chips however it is not some thing I normally eat. It was fast and hot. Prices a little high but overall enjoyed.

Popped in with a group of my family around 2:30 on Saturday 4th feb. There were three members of staff on shift and service was slow. The primary problem is that the menu is so limited. They do NOT do fish cake, mushy peas, gravy or chip cobs. My mum asked if they did do fish cake and she had... More

Wandering around the Temple area in Dublin I came across Leo Burdock. Very nice cod and chips, freshly cooked. Restaurant was basic but spotless. Highly recommend for a quick bite to eat.
