After a long walk to the streets of Dublin we found this nice pub. The staff was very polite and very helpful. The food very good.

Went here for dinner while Christmas shopping. The pub is nice and inviting with open fires. We got two roast turkey turkey carvery dinners and my other half got a pint of Heineken with his. The portion of meat was good, we got one roast potato each and two scoops of mash. We each asked for stuffing and got a... More

Their menu is not very large but the plates were generous and the food was good and hearty. I loved the little fireplace, nice on a chilly day for sure. Not much for wine selection but plenty of beer (go figure). It's a nice little spot to spend some time indoors and is very reasonably priced.

This was our second time in The Duke in the space of a couple of months and the atmosphere was as welcoming and warm as our first visit. On this occasion, we decided to have some food and both our meals were lovely. The portions were generous, the food was hot and presentation was really good. The staff are very... More

This is the best Lamb Stew I've ever had: Thick, tasty, large chunks of lamb and perfect brown bread. Maybe the best pub food I had in Dublin.....beautiful looking burger next to me would have put that found in most bars in Boston to shame. There is nothing more shameful or inexcusable than a small burger at a bar. Duke's... More

We came here for a Sunday Roast and were not disappointed. The food was good and of a generous size. Service was friendly and it wasn't too busy so we were able to enjoy our meal. It had an authentic feel to the pub.

Typical Irish bar, attentive staff and tasty food. The Burger is a monster, delicious. Nice pint of Guiness, good selection on draught too.

Usually go for a Beamish and regularly went there for the quiet pint. They got rid of the tap and staff decided to joke about it rather than explain why. Terrible trend.
