I took my partner to Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud as a valentines treat. It was the 2 stars that made me consider here but definitely the amazing sounding menu that made me book. Whilst perusing the menu we enjoyed a glass of champagne and a chat with Patrick Guilbaud. The canapes were excellent, anything with blue cheese and choux pasty is... More

A wonderful Valentine day treat. The whole event was great from the start waiting in the bar to the wonderful chocolate truffles at the end. Patrick Guilbaud came to speak to each table and he was a joy. A very special place

My husband booked as a really special birthday treat and it didn't disappoint. From the moment we walked in we were made feel special and the service from start to finish was first class. The food was really special and I had the deer and my husband had the beef for mains and the taste and flavour was amazing. In... More

We went there to celebrate Valentine's Day and my birthday. Our last visit was just over 3 years ago (we moved overseas), but the restaurant hasn't changed much. Same lovely greeting as you enter, same sense of space, pleasant decor, etc. The appetiser of scallops was the highlight. I enjoyed the lobster ravioli but scallops were seasoned & cooked to... The refurb was certainly plush with a 22ct gold leaf ceiling as a central point. The service was excellent as usual with Stephane buzzing about ensuring all was up to scratch. The food was, as usual, excelent and well presented. A restaurant with a well deserved reputation and well worth a visit. The lunch time set menu leaves this upmarket... More

Such an enjoyable birthday lunch here today. James the sommelier made it just that bit more special with his wine and port recommendations. Such a knowledgeable and personable young man. The food was fabulous. Our first time at Patrick Guilbaud. Will we be back?... For sure!

The food was beautifully presented and service was excellent. However I ordered the Lobster and unfortunately it wasn't as good as I hoped. This is my only complaint. The chocolate truffles at the end are some of the best truffles I've tasted.

This restaurant if for rich people who eat out a lot and who don't want to get fat or business people on expenses. If you are going for an annual treat or birthday, you may find the portions too small. But the food is exquisite. It is very formal and french-y and they tend to interrupt too much for my... More

Dined here last night, went with the 8-course chef tasting menu. Presentation and dining experience was far too stiff. It took a lot to get a smile out of the wait staff with the exception of my main server who had a sense of humor. It's almost ironic where being a guest to Ireland, all you experience is the friendliness... More
