We had a lovely meal in Talbot101 a few nights ago. We had a perfect table, in the window, and enjoyed ourselves very much. We both had the lamb shank , and Eton mess.....delicious! We will be back.

After years of walking past this place on a nearly daily basis I finally got the opportunity to check it out. It's a lot bigger than you'd think from the outside. Although it's only one room from what I saw, it's large enough to hold...More

Old rickety staircase entrance but lovely restaurant with great busy atmosphere. My wife and with my sister and her husband had a beautiful meal there recently. My Lamb was the tastiest and best cooked that I've ever had ! Service was friendly and very efficient....More

Came across this inconspicuous gem walking out from our hotel. Very good food, perfectly cooked and juicy. Definitely worth popping in.

We were lucky enough to get a table for four without a reservation probably because it was quite early. The restaurant can be located upstairs. It is a bright cheerful restaurant with excellent food and drinks.

We had dinner as a large group of about 30. Food was very good and the waiters were perky and personable. You do have to walk up stairs to get to the dining room and the low ceilings make it noisy but overall it was...More

The restaurant is quite small, but I have seen groups of up to 12 seated together. Hope this helps.
