My family and I use to go to independent Pizza since it opened in the small shop up the road where the Mexican now is. We no longer go because the standard of food has dropped completely. For instance the Goats cheese crostini isn't prepared fresh like it use to be, It's very soggy dry and inconsistent. Pizza bases are... More

I've been going here since it opened many years ago and never had a bad meal. The menu has changed a lot over those years and it's always been the best pizza in town. The chicken fajita being my favourite preceded by the spicy chicken wings. The old goats cheese crostini being a superb dish, but no longer on the... More

Everyone knows Independent for their fantastic and unfailing pizza and that hasn't changed, but now - they do brunch too! Myself and a group of friends went on Sunday morning and it was delicious. Of course if a pizza still tickles your fancy that's fine you can still get one, but you can also get brunch style dishes like poached... More

So visited here with my girlfriend one lunchtime and we were so impressed we visited again for one evening for dinner. The staff are really friendly and provide good service. The pizzas have great toppings and combine some great flavours together. They also have a great selection of red wines. They have booths as well so after we finished our... More

I always enjoy a trip here. Great pizza and a decent selection of beers - Brooklyn lager and eight degrees craft ales. Really nice desserts too! Ideally located next to drumcondra station and worth a visit. Hard to say anywhere in Dublin has better pizza. Paulie's or Da Mimmo on a par maybe.

We ordered a pizza and guac with tortillas. We love avocado and everything that has it, and for the first time in our lives we had to throw it away as it was sweet (seems that somebody had put sugar instead of salt on it). The pizza barely had toppings and the tortillas that came with the guacamole was actually... More

Celebrated my sons birthday here and as frequent diners i have to say i think if possible this place is getting better, there was a constant stream of customers having to be refused as they were booked out which on a weeknight at 6pm tells you how good this place is. Staff were amazing and made sure my two young... More
