Went for "one quick quiet pint" after work. Sarah got us a nice table in about ten seconds and all of a sudden three hours had passed. Lovely spot.

But if you're in your twenties and on a group night out, perfect! Classic Irish pub off Grafton St and the staff know what they're doing but the people there are going fir it madly even at 6pm on a school, night, so be warned!

A great old-fashioned boozer, full of atmosphere, good selection of beers and friendly service - what's not to like?

Kehoes is easily one of the best pubs in Dublin City Centre. Be warned, due to its popularity it can be difficult to get seats on weekend evenings but do not let that put you off, go along and hopefully you can squeeze in somewhere!...More

By sheer luck we stumbled upon this watering hole and what luck it was. There must have been over a hundred people Outside the bar drinking Guinness for the most part. We squeezed inside to get a few wobbly pops ourselves and then came outside...More

Laid back atmosphere. Lots of locals watching sports. Good pub experience. We hung out in one of the small private enclaves- nice afternoon. Good beer selection too- great place for a true Guinness. Also had some Guinness limited release offerings that can be hard to...More

The pint of Guinness couldn't be faulted despite it almost being thrown at us and the change shoved at us....the bar steward obviously lacked the ability to even talk to us let alone show any element of friendliness...he was able to communicate with his eyebrows...More

I would agree with Kbono14 about Keoghs. Maybe worth a try at Doheny & Nesbitt if you want a true Irish pub experience (Baggot St) or assuming your son eats meat (I'm taking dairy to mean cheese, milk & eggs) I can truly... More
