This restaurant has a relaxed traditional feel, providing an environment which is comfortable for social or business outings. The food is fresh, imaginatively presented, and tasty. The wine list caters for the discerning palate. We found the service staff to be smartly attired, knowledgeable, and friendly. However, it was somewhat slow at times.

When a very capable chef works with 1st class ingredients in an establishment where the finest of wines are available- you get Peploe's... Excellent menu.... Proper food craft! Expensive - yes. Worth it - yes. "Ipsum bonum" = VERY good. Eat here at least once in your life - "because you are worth it".

The best food I have had in Dublin! Myself and my boyfriend went here for a romantic night out and were delighted with the result. The portion sizes were very good and we left feeling full and satisfied! The waiters were very helpful when we asked them for recommendations and their recommendations were spot on. I had the fish pie... More

We were welcomed warmly by the host and shown to our table, the waiter was trying to be super efficient which was a bit off putting! The menu was good value and had a nice variety of choices. In the top corner of the menu in tiny writing was a a statement that bread was available on request!!!!! Well we... More

I recently organized dinner in Peploe's, it was a special reunion for 25 people. The management were helpful and professional is taking the booking and making arrangements for the evening. The set menu was substantial and gave a lot of choice. On the night the staff were again helpful, courteous and efficient. The food was excellent, good quality and served... More

Having booked a table for 3 - 6 days in advance we were given a table underneath an air conditioning unit which was blowing on the side of my neck and head. We asked to be moved and we were then put sitting at a window where there was a cold draught. Our booking was for 1.30 and all 3... More

Mixed views here. Superb sea bass with risotto, one of best fish dishes I"ve ever had....French Malbec good too as was value. Let down and overshadowed by a bland unseasoned steak did not impress my partner. Also initially good service deteriorated during our visit...on balance I would say service was poor. Well I visit again? Yes ....my partner says no.

We went to Peploe's for a late lunch and unfortunately we were seated beside an all female table celebrating a 60th who got progressively louder as the afternoon went on. We complained about the noise levels and whilst the female manager who was on duty early in the day was sympathetic, she told us that she had nowhere to move... More

My fourth visit to this Dublin haunt.2 couples out for a catch up over Saturday lunch. The restaurant always has a lovely ambience, despite the terrible weather outside. A warm welcome as usual at the desk and a nice comfortable table. Starters of crab ravioli and kidneys were well received. The foie gras was less impressive and somewhat over chilled.... More

Description
Peploe's is chic, sophisticated and probably the bubbliest restaurant in Dublin. Great food and ambience is the order of the day at Peploe's Wine Bistro. We all work very hard making sure that we have the best service, great food and really buzzy atmosphere! Our produce is sources from the best Irish and European suppliers of fresh fish and meat.
