Coming into Shanahan's on The Green on a wet and windy evening, we were given a very warm welcome and our experience continued to be super. We had our pre dinner drinks in the cosy yet spacious basement. We dined in a small dining room...More

Was intrigued to try out this famous eatery. Finally got to go and while I enjoyed my food and the service, and the pre dinner cocktails (which were the strongest concoctions I have ever had), it just was not worth the money it cost. €360...More

Surprise night out and we arrived at Shanahan's. From the miserable faces greeting us at front of house, I knew it was going to be hard going. Curt, rude, unwilling to help, we had it all. At one point in the meal, 5 mouthfuls in,...More

Attended a work Christmas lunch on Friday 19th December. Having organised the reservation myself I knew exactly what had been organised and agreed. Upon arrival I was accused of not letting the staff know of our final numbers (which I had). We were then squeezed...More

This is my favourite restaurant (and I have eaten in quite a few!). The standard of service is fantastic and the quality of the food is first class. It is on the expensive side but well worth it. The portions are huge!! I have eaten...More

I read about this place in an interview with Will Farrell, who said it was his favorite restaurant in Dublin. Unfortunately, I read about it I think in the airline magazine on our way back, after leaving Dublin the last time. So I wanted to...More

There is no dress code but I did wear a blazer and khakis. Didn't want to look like a bum. I strongly recommend the Saddle Room instead, better food and way less expensive.

Description
American Style Steakhouse and Seafood Restaurant featuring Certified Irish Angus beef and the freshest seafood and produce from Ireland's local bounty. Shanahan's ethos is simple and sophisticated. Your experience begins upon arrival. Enjoy an aperitif in the Oval Office bar. Take a moment to inspect the impressive collection of memorabilia adorning the walls. Each item commemorates the U.S. Presidents with an Irish connection or ancestry. Marvel at the bar's centrepiece, JFK's rocking chair from Air Force One. Dining in Shanahan's is a delight. The elegance of the food and service, is maintained in perfect harmony with the warmth, which personifies the Shanahan's team.
