A post Xmas treat. Seated immediately and very friendly waitress served us. We ordered a mix of deep fried veg and spring rolls- none of which tasted of anything, no seasoning what so ever apart from the small side sauce. I've never eaten such bland spring rolls. For main we had 1 veg pad Thai and 2 chicken pad Thai.... More

Adore this restaurant, fantastic atmosphere, gorgeous food, always busy which is such a good sign, have never had a bad meal here, lovely bar area to have a cocktail after your meal, 30 second walk to grafton street, a restaurant I keep returning to again and again

Had dinner in Saba Clarendon Street at the end of September 2016 as part of an office function. It’s great to see the restaurant doing so well, place was packed and the atmosphere was excellent. We were a large group and this often leads to a drop in food quality but absolutely not in Saba. Food was excellent, we ate... More

My colleague and I had lunch here on the 13th Jan 2017. Before ordering our meal, we placed a drinks order of 1 Harvey Wall Banger and a glass of house red. After five minutes the waitress returned saying the bar man did not know what a Harvey Wallbanger was. Considering Saba is supposed to be a cocktail lounge/restaurant, I... More

Attended for a Christmas party. Only fault was that we were split over 2 tables (back to back) which really divided our party. Food was prompt, hot and tasty with a reasonable selection to cater for a variety of tastes on their group menu. Also we were kindly facilitated by holding a meal in the kitchen as a member of... Sister was 60 (gulp!!) in December so wanted to treat me to lunch with her hubby; She chose Saba thinking I hadn't been there ( see my review from 2012). Interesting to compare experiences 4 years after. If cocktails are still a tadge overpriced I have to admit they are good. Service was much better this time...really nice team looked... More

Tasty Asian cuisine with healthy options available. Great Cocktails & casual dining with nice atmosphere & attentive staff. Only drawback is when there are large groups it can get quite noisy...but I still love it!

After reading a few good reviews about this place which advertise itself to be a Vietnamese/Thai place, I was very disappointed. The menu displayed dishes that were not proper Thai or Vietnamese (such as deep fried vegetarian spring rolls and batteries squids... really???) Although the service was good it felt a little impersonal, and rushed as if they had to... More

Saba is definitely one of my favourite restaurants. The atmosphere is always great there. I have been several times and the food has always been delicious. Neither myself or the people I have went with have been disappointed yet. It caters for a few different diets including vegetarian, gluten free and paleo. Saba also do cocktails, we always go for...
