This place is very traditional, and we enjoyed stopping for a beer. It's a beautiful pub, and the bartenders and other patrons were very pleasant.

Very very old pub well worth a stop. Friendly staff & local color. Apparently had just filmed a Guinness ad there so old signs saying 10¢ beer still up. Sadly, was not true!

Who wouldn't want to go here to experience a bit of Dublin history- be it very old or RCSI in nature. Long standing excellent service from Ronan and his dad before him. A great Irish pub. You must go here! the genuine article.

On the recommendation from our hotel staff when we asked for a locals pub they gave us the name of The Swan. It was perfect. The bartender, Paul, was just terrify. Friendly and helpful, even made me a martini without a shaker. So nice. We...More

grand for a quick drink on a Saturday afternoon. Not the cleanest and no atmosphere at all but if you're looking for a very quiet drink, it's grand

Wow seriously avoid this place. Actually a great bar but there's a barman in there who clearly does not want customers in the place. If he was just rude, at least you could ignore him but he somehow manages to go out of his way...More

Called in here for a drink. It feels like your stepping back in time, a well preserved Victorian interior. It was quiet when I was there, early lunchtime, and most of the other customers were locals. The Guinness was good and staff polite. I got...More

Really loved the astmophere of this place and the decor. A drinkers pub, mainly standing room only. No music playing in the background just the sound of people talking

Great bar, good Guinness and really good staff. The pub is also much more modern than you think from the outside. Nice and cosy and good for the match too.
