The Lord Edward's a nice pub with a local feel to it. Seemed like a good place to stop by for a quick drink before you head home.

Stopped here for a few pints and loved it. Price of a pint was good but staff and customers were fantastic. Great atmosphere and friends a plenty. Highly recommend.

I arranged to meet a friend here before going to a local event. This, despite Tripadvisor's insistance, is not an restaurant but is now only a pub. It is more than a year since that was the case. However the bar has an excellent atmosphere and very pleasant bar staff. I would have no problem returning for a pint when... More

Amazing pub. Very nice staff and good value. Loved the ambience. From the moment we went in to the pub the staff were obviously keen on looking after 4 senior citizens. Thanks guys..

The Lord Edward isn't fancy but the Guinness and Smithwicks taste great. The barman was very friendly, offering tips on where to eat, since this pub no longer serves food. We visited this bar after touring the city centre. It is very close to Christ Church Cathedral, so we were able to have a pint after visiting there.

If you are going to Dublin and want to visit a proper locals bar just a short walk away from the over priced and expensive Temple Bar then visit this cool old original proper Dublin pub. Its all original inside, wooden floors, old tiling, great service, nice people and warm in the evenings on a winters night. Get the real... More

this is a great pub where you can make new friends at the bar, or sit at a small secluded table. The guinness is delicious but they do not have tullamore dew

Great pub for a Guinness but plaque on outside says oldest pub with seafood in Dublin, though they didn't serve food when we went during lunchtime. Still a great looking pub right across street from church and near temple bar area.

We stopped here for a few pints and were suprised by the nice ambiance of the pub. You can sit in a wonderful room upstairs and see Christcurch or people passing by. Great atmosphere, friendly barstaff.

This little gem is a nice small pub with good Guinness and has the genuine feeling about it. The beer prices are quite good as well. If you are nearby do visit this little pub and enjoy the feeling :)
