I've been here quiet a few times over the years and god willing I'll be back quiet a few times more! This place has 'bucket loads' of personality, atmosphere and energy with fabulous staff. I had the goats cheese followed by the fillet of beef which were both superb and I whole heartily recommend. Trocadero has been around in Dublin... More

i love this restaurant, its warm and inviting and a fabulous atmosphere. Buzzy without being intrusive and staff are warm and friendly and have been there years. Food is excellent and I have never had a bad meal there. I love going at Christmas time as its extra special. Cant wait to go back, hopefully for New Years if I... More

We had the pre theatre menu here a couple of days ago and as usual it was excellent. The Troc is old fashioned in decor. It is warm and so comfortable. The staff are just the best, friendly and professional. It was full when we arrived at 6pm, always a good sign. The pre theatre menu at 27 euro is... More

Just a throwback to old style theatre restaurants. Nothing too flashy in this place and that is its charm. The food was quickly delivered and was excellent with no complaints from any of our table of 6. Nice touches with a shot of ? on finishing up and getting ready to leave. Staff were unobtrusive but attentive letting you just... More

This restaurant came as a recommendation and we booked over 2 weeks in advance. What a disappointing experience . Yes it has a quaint and theatre style interior but the tables are on top of each other with dinners at different tables inches from each other. But you could live with that if the food was of a standard that... More

If you love an era where waiters wear black tie, want to rub elbows with the theatre set or really know difference between medium rare and medium...then the Troc is for you! Highly recommend the early bird (liver pate for starters, a real medium steak or baked hake firm recommendations as us new Italian wine). Dine in comfy surroundings with... More

Great restaurant. I have never had a bad meal. However the thing that makes this restaurant great are the staff. They create a really fun atmosphere. Book ahead of time, they are always very busy.

My friend and I had a lovely dinner here before the Tom Odell gig in the Olympia. Great food and excellent service. The restaurant was busy and having eaten here, I can understand why.

I ate dinner here with my family (all adults) and the restaurant reminded of a place you would see in New York or Los Angeles with a connection to the theater. Pictures of celebrities on the walls, dated food preparations and formal service. Nothing about the food will surprise you, but it is good quality. Service is a little stiff... More
