Visited here on 21 January as one of a party of 10. As usual on Saturday night, the restaurant was full, but the staff ensured that we were served as though were the only guests there. I had the scallops which were cooked to perfection and were especially succulent and tasty. This was followed with a perfectly cooked and served... More

The service was timely without being rushed, the waiter very personable. The food was excellent, lamb chops particularly, among the best ever. Drinks and wine selection all good, not cheap but good value.

Visited here for first time last night. What to say...??? Great interior, great ambience, impeccable service, stunning food. One of the very best restaurant experiences and one that will live long in the memory. Every dish we had was sublime. I'd happily eat here every night for the next year.

We only go to the Trocadero once or twice a year because it's always been a special favourite of ours. The food is always stunning and keeps up to date with culinary trends. The maître d' always greets us by name even though we would by no means be considered regulars. The pre-theatre menu is good value for money and... More

As a special treat about 30 years ago , I brought my new girlfriend to this restaurant . Was quite nervous so couldn't quite remember the experience, I remember it being good though . Fast forward to last Saturday night and here we are again , a party of 7 , the girlfriend ( in her infinite wisdom ) decided... More

Always visit this restaurant when in Dublin. Lovely food and great atmosphere. Definitely a favourite place. Very friendly staff who always try to find you a table even when it's a last minute booking. Definitely recommend.

I have been going to Trocadero for many years. It is always a special occasion. Food is consistently fantastic, wine choice is superb and the atmosphere is always relaxed and welcoming. The only reason I am not scoring excellent this time is the service. The servers could do with a refresher course in tact, observation and general service. They have... More

First dined here as a teenager and have returned many times since including my bachelorette party and more recently a girls Christmas lunch, love it!!! The pate is a favourite as is the risotto, fantastic decor, feels like a private world in the midst of a busy city
