Having visited with our kids and a buggy we were served without issue but then an aggressively mannered manager came over to say the buggy was not allowed. This was after we were seated had paid for food. When we insisted at this point we needed to at... More

Had a very nice lunch in the Tea Rooms today - a bowl of steaming hot delicious chunky vegetable soup accompanied by two enormous slices of home-made brown bread (with Irish butter of course). It was a beautiful autumn day outside, the leaves were falling like confetti and those that remained on the trees transformed the park into a tapestry... More

Good selection of hot & cold food and home-cooked desserts but not very tasty. Veggie soup was bland & kids lasagne portion was tiny. Coffee needs improvement too!

Location, location location. Beautiful place steeped in history. Well worth a still or bus ride around. Lovely little cafe to grab a coffee and something to nibble on.

We had stopped for a washroom break and discovered an excellent lunch stop. The soup was really good, as was the sandwich. Both were large enough for us to share. And they were reasonably priced, we thought.
