Shared some tapas with friends in the Market Bar- some were delicious, especially the prawns, olives and salads. Very boring bread. The frittata was lukewarm and rubbery. Salads very good indeed. Good coffee. The service was very slow- suits a relaxed meal but a bit annoying if you are in a hurry.

Loved everything about this place, I got the meatballs and potatoes on both occasions and really loved them, the second time I was there I got the large size which was way to big for me so I go a doggie bag.

A lovely restaurant and bar to relax and take in the history of what may have taken place in the building. We were upstairs in the bar and the service was good with a good selection of craft beers and cocktails on offer. Nice relaxing bar.

To be honest I was close to giving this a 3/5 review (average) but at second thought I said no, it was actually quite poor. It is a lovely looking bar, but the feel of the service although very nice and friendly was that it was all very rushed, we no sooner had ordered but our food was on the... More

A group of us visited here last week, the majority ordering from the set tapas menu...but there wasn't enough food to go around, they brought out 16 portions for 20 people and I was told that's just the way it is as not everyone will like everything (the chance to try would've been nice!) One friend had a food intolerance... More

We were visiting Dublin for a hen party weekend and The Market Bar was recommended, so we decided to give it a go. When we booked we told them that there would be 22 of us, 2 of which were vegetarians and 1 with a particular intolerance. We were told that they would be catered for. When we arrived I... More

Before arriving with a large party of people, the main organiser contacted this restaurant to confirm if they catered for, people with allergies and if they were able to cook without oil. Restaurant confirmed yes they would. On arrival I checked the menu which also stated to speak to waiting staff regarding allergies. I tried to order a grilled skewer with... More

This place is great for both food and drinks. Nice selection of beers by the bottle and on draught. Staff was super friendly and attentive! They have a little cocktail bar in the building (The Black Market) that is also very worthy a visit!

It's been a few years since I was here but definitely won't be rushing back ! Monday night it certainly wasn't busy - the waiter was quite rude & told us that they would be closing at 8pm (we arrived at 6). My friend is coeliac so she asked could they substitute something on the early bird for a gluten... More
