We arrived to Galway and happened to stumble across this gem of a restaurant. The food and service was absolutely incredible. You could see the servers smiling and here the kitchen laughing and enjoying themselves and that joy comes out in the food. A must go for anyone looking for an amazing dinner!!

They have a really nice selection of food here .... but the chicken burger with pineapple is to particularly delicious. It's also excellently priced and in a nice, busy part of Galway. The service is worth mentioning, really genuine and friendly. Only drawback is that you can't make a reservation, but it clearly works for The Quay Street Kitchen because... More

We arrived here without booking on a Saturday night and were put on the waiting list, we took a chance and the waitress called us 30 mins later to say they had a table for two. The restaurant is small and quirky. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive. Our meal was gorgeous, wings to start, burger and mussels... More

We are visiting from Australia and this place came from a hotel concierge recommendation. Having just driven from Killarney... we were famished. And the Quay St Kitchen didn't disappoint! My vegetarian friend was well catered for and us meat lovers were too... I had pork neck, my other friend had the seafood vessel. All chased down with a bottle of... More

On a recent visit to Ireland we were looking for a place to treat the family for a nice meal out. After reading the reviews we decided to visit this restaurant as we thought it would be something special, sadly we were quite disappointed. First impressions were not the best, - very small restaurant and as they do not take... More

First time visiting Galway and couldn't have stumbled upon a better place. Great atmosphere, great food (Steak & Lamb) but the highlight of the night was our waitress. She instantly made us feel at home from the second we arrived and was more than helpful when it came to asking recommendations on where to go afterwards. Forgot to ask her... More

Very small, but very nice! The staff were nice and friendly and the food was delicious. There is a lot of choice in Galway, and we just happened to stumble across this place, and we were glad we did. I'd recommend Quay Street Kitchen and will be back next time I'm in Galway.

Went there for my last dinner in Galway and my last night with my friends, and let say that the food was so great it almost made us forget how sad we were. Plus, the people were lovely.

We stopped here for some soup and a brown scone for lunch. The soup came quickly, there was a good sized portion, it was very reasonably priced and, most importantly, it was tasty!! The Quay Street Kitchen isn't a big place but has a nice, friendly atmosphere. The toilets added a little extra fun with a 'take a compliment' slip... More
