We enjoyed soup and bread on a beautiful day in September outside because the weather was fantastic. The soup was delicious! When I went in to use the washroom I was impressed, full of character, and wished we had time to go back for dinner. It is a very busy spot and you could easily spend a few hours sitting... More

Delicious food; great atmosphere. Simply could not be happier. Staff was friendly and helpful. Walked up and down Quay street trying to decide and jumped at chance to try a quaint little "hole in the wall". It is apparently not so much a hole in the wall but a local favorite!

You can't go wrong at this place The food was delicious. Hot, seasoned well and varied menu. Good wine menu too. Wonderful service. Wished I had found it our first night.

We had a great meal with excellent service at the Quay Street Kitchen. It is an informal restaurant with a broad selection of menu items. The only down side is they don't take reservations and it is very popular, so our wait (on a weeknight in late September) was an hour. It was definitely worth the wait, though.

Quay Street Kitchen does not take reservations, but no bother. I left my name and phone number and they called when my table became available 15 minutes later. The food, from the calamari and bruschetta starters to the mains to the dessert were fantastic. My friend had Beef and Guinness Stew and she said it was wonderful. I had a... More

Chowder had lots of fish but liquid part of chowder was tasteless. Calamari was great - a giant portion. Enough for 2 people . Fish and chips was awful. Chips overcooked and greasy. Fish tasteless and batter not nice. All I could taste was grease. I will not be back. Staff and service were excellent and thats the only reason... More

Visited here last week on a midweek break. Had a bowl of chowder and the husband had a spicy chicken pitta. The chowder is a meal in itself, more like a stew, you'd need a very large appetite to consume a main course after this one. Very tasty and fresh, The chicken in pitta was also fresh, grilled and low... More

Stopped off with my wife and my new born. The staff were lovely, polite and quick. Unlike an experience I had when they first opened. Food was delicious and the place itself has a great atmosphere. If you are a fan of chowder you will be pleasantly surprised with the amount of fish in the dish! The only issue we... More
