Regular watering hole and a very good snack menu, fish & chips and sea food chowder amongst our favourites. Great place as well for a morning coffee and pastries while taking in the views from the first floor bar...nice terrace too for those warmer days to sit and take in the lake and mountain scenery. Great views over the 18th... More

A good place top relax after a round and have a casual bite to eat. We have eaten here many times and the seafood chowder is excellent. A window table enables you to watch the golfers play up the 18th hole of the Killeen course.

Great choice of sandwiches, soups and salads. Loved coffee and scones! A spacious view of lake and surrounding gardens and trees. Very pretty setting.

We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant as part of a tour of Ireland. The food was good and the service was also good.

Beautiful views of the course, freshly tapped Guinness, a hot bowl of Fish Chowder, and fantastic brown bread. It all made me forget my so-so round of golf. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Not sure what's happened here but last year 2015 had an excellent lunch with a superb seafood chowder. This year extremely poor. A toasted chicken ceaser wrap that was tasteless and dry and the brown bread under the prawn sandwich was poor. Choice has diminished and certainly not up to what one would expect.

The worst food I have ever recived in a golf club. The bar was like a furnace, way too hot ,the fish was over cooked and the fries were cold. Never again. I will go into Killarney town to eat next time.

We regularly walk in this area including through the golf course (and by the way "four" means get your head down fast!). The views of the Lake and lakeside mountains are heart-rendingly beautiful. When we first tried the restaurant at Mahony's Point, we were expecting the usual clubhouse fare. Not so! Instead, we found a wide-ranging menu, including super sandwiches.... More

We are talking a golf club here. Great food after a round of golf. Wholesome and fresh. I had the steak sandwich, which was flavorful and filling. Hit the right spot.
