I'm a local in Killarney and stonechat is my favourite restaurant with amazing food and staff. The goats cheese is to die for and the steak or tagatelli for main course just WOW and don't forget to finish off with the chocolate cake served with ice cream and cream! Please don't miss out when visiting Killarney!

Lovely little restaurant, hidden in a small side street. We ate there 3 times with different people during our stay in Killarney - each time was great. Friendly staff with a great sense of humour.

In kilarney for a night away and found a great place for tasty food and good irish hospitality. The lady manager (Wednesday night) had a delightful way about her and all the staff followed her lead. The duck spring rolls were ok but the burgers were very tasty and juicy with a nice Argentina wine.

10/10 for everything at this restaurant. From the greeting we got when we landed, to the decor, to the waiters, to the menu, to the food, to the wine, and the goodbye. An absolutely fantastic spot that I had just forgotten about. Really cosy spot and I'm really looking forward to going back.

Thoroughly enjoyed eating here last weekend. This is obviously a favourite of locals (earwigging on some great engagement between diners). Food was excellent, cooked and presented in an effortless and friendly manner. Great staff engagement. This would be my new favourite local if I lived close enough - having said that, I will be back. Ate here recently and it was awful. The food was poor and the staff were inefficient and rude..we will not be back.

Brickin was full, so the owner recommended Stonecat - it was a home run. We started with duck spring rolls that were fresh and flavorful. My husband had the lamb shank and I had the Irish chicken, and both were great. We really enjoyed splitting the Bailey's cheesecake. Great wine selection, too. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Prices were typical of Killarney prices which are pretty much rip off Americans, the girl serving was extra pleasent and if anything stopped us sending the food back.. my wife had Monk fish which was served without a sauce and was pretty plain, I has fish and chips, the batter was dark brown which suggests it was cooked a couple...
