This is a large restaurant which is helpful when trying to find a dinner spat at 7P. Food was excellent. We had Irish fare AND chicken fingers for the kids. Service was excellent, friendly and efficient. Located right in the downtown if you're out and...More

Served us at 10:00 pm. Great fish and chips. Friendly staff. Live Irish folk singer. Real pub feel but clean and bright.

Checked out several places in downtown area. Our group of six were quickly seated and our waitress quickly took our drink and dinner order. Most of us had the porterhouse steak sandwich which cooked perfectly and very tender. My wife had the bun-less turkey burger...More

During our recent two week visit to Ireland, mostly in the West-Southwest, Killarney was the liveliest town, with lots of people on the streets, great shopping, and actual music. The restaurant is quite lovely, well decorated, and the service excellent, even though our group was...More

Lovely food, service fantastic, atmosphere cracking :) 3 courses after a busy day on the wild Atlantic way. Every course wonderful. So quick considering how busy it was :)

Child portion of ribs refused. Cook not capable of cutting a rack of ribs in two. Desert was terrible. Music so loud that no conversation was possible

My group of 3 all enjoyed our meal here. We all got something different and it was all very tasty and good. Place was packed with both locals and tourists alike, so you know it must be good! Definitely recommend.

Nothing remarkable on the menu, but the food is good and the live music entertaining. Some of the best fish and chips in the area.

Already just for the ribs it is worth to visit. Everything else is also fine, e.g., the fish plate or for sides the potato bravas. Note: currently they don't accepts tips when you are paying with card.

Sorry, not sure. I would also suggest checking the website; maybe there is an email option to contact someone at the restaurant.

We opened "The Porterhouse Gastropub" in the height of the recession in December 2011, year on year business has continued to grow. We pride ourselves in serving good pub grub accompanied with live music. We have a full bar, which is known to be a lively spot on the weekends. We offer live music 7 nights a week - all year round. If you are looking for a quiet fine dining meal in a restaurant environment, we aren't the place for you.
