Food on three separate nights on a very busy weekend and it was exceptional. Portions were huge, everything was perfect, highly recommend.

Johnny Frank's has the feel of a local pub even though it is connected to the Meadowlands Hotel. Food is great and service is exceptional. And depending on the time of day (or events at hotel), it can be a quite oasis or a happening venue complete with music.

Nice bar, lots of space and seating, big screen TV and 2 smaller TV' in the bar as well. Service is attentive and the food served from Moinear restaurant is very good has been made and plated with thought. Prices for drinks and food are good. It's really great to breath fresh non-smoke polluted air in a pub.

We had dinner last Sunday evening in Johnny Franks Bar. We were served by the most pleasant waitress. I had the steak sandwich it was fabulous, really generous portion. My fiancee had the hake it was so fresh served with garden veg. The sauce on the hake was sumptuous. Service was excellent, we will definitely be back in the future.

The bar looks great but there could be some improvements with the staff and food. Server chewing gum with mouth open, placing forks on the table using the prongs, no one checked during mains, had to go searching for them for assistance, didn't ask how our meal was. Food: perhaps we just got the wrong food, but not worth the... More

Situated just two minutes drive from the centre of Tralee, on the Listowel Road we dropped in here for an evening meal on a whim as we travelled through Tralee from a meeting in West Kerry. There is ample parking at the front of the hotel (Johnny Franks is part of the Meadowlands Hotel) and a huge car park at... More
