Had my first pint of Guinness, and they pour a good pint here. To be honest it does feel a little touristy, it doesn't seem to have the same feel other pubs do. However considering the interesting history here I don't think you can go to Kilkenny without at least stopping by and having a drink.

Had dinner and drinks here and everything was fantastic! Easily found a table for our group of 8. Nice bathrooms and it was interesting reading about the history of the Inn.

Kyteler's was recommended to us by our innkeeper and it was a lovely evening walk through town to get here. We had some pretty traditional pub grub, bangers and mash, fish and chips, beer, wine...and wonderful music. The food was quite good -- hearty after a long day of walks and travels, the atmosphere perfect for an Irish pub, and... More

We went to this pub based on a recommendation, and it didn't disappoint. I got the lasagne al forno, and it was amazing. The sauce was creamy and the cheese was perfect. My bf got the stew and loved it. The atmosphere of the place was great, very intimate. They also have live music.

We decided to go here after a visit to Kilkenny Castle where we discovered the Inn was first established in the 13th century. The decor is so interesting that you continue to spot interesting items dotted around the premises, keep an eye out for a curious character over the fireplace! We firstly warmed up with a hot whiskey beside the... More

I can't begin to say how much we loved eating here. Food was fantastic, great atmosphere, and friendly people. A great pub. And if you save room for dessert, you must try the banoffee pie!

We visited in a group of 4 on a Sunday night. We were recommended to visit here by the taxi driver, because of the traditional music. It was busier than I expected which was good and the music was great. The drinks are reasonably priced and you get served quickly despite the bar being swamped by people. They have lots... More

Medieaval building in the heart of Kilkenny dating back to 1324. Once home to Dame Alice Kyteler tried for witchcraft. Kytelers Inn is NOT a restaurant but a Pub - which is our main business. Yes we also serve bar food. There are three floors with four bars - cheek them all out for the one that suits. On offer at peak season twice nightly from 6.30pm. is a programme of trad music, balladeer, irish dancers & seanachie. You can watch & eat & drink at your leisure.Weekends and Bank holidays we also have Late Bar extensions with bands & DJ for those that want to party a bit later into the night. As it was in Alice Kyteler's day - Kyteler's Inn is a place for "merrie making" - Come and visit us to find out more..Also check us out - Trip Advisor Bars/Nightlife
