I had ham and brie in a "Blaa" which came with salad and very tasty chips which was lovely, himself had the steak sandwich... More

nice restaurant and staff are fine but could be a bit friendlier. We had lovely sandwiches and were presented very nicely as they look very well on the plate

The food is absolute perfection, the servers are polite, well presented and extremely helpful. Slightly more expensive than an average restaurant but it's worth more than you pay for.

Excellent dinner - plenty of menu choices at reasonable prices with cheerful & efficient service. Returned for breakfast which again didn't disappoint.

We sat outside in a nicely heated area which is just opposite Kytler's Inn. Service was prompt and friendly and the food very good. Our dog sat under the table and echos the "good food" comment - the staff also offered him water, which he was appreciative of. Lovely vibes. Good Kilkenny character.

The food was fab really good, the atmosphere was good although it felt a little overcrowded like we were all jammed in a little more space and less overlooked would have been perfect, but if your looking for good food this is the place, we had the chicken and chorizo and would highly recommend it.

Whether it's morning break, lunch, evening meal, this bar has everything going for it. Courteous and efficient staff, always helpful. Good menu variety for all occasions. Tea rooms (downstairs) provide congenial atmosphere. At the same time if you simply want a drink (i.e. public house style) then no problem as the long bar accommodates all.

I always eat at the Marble City. The food is good and the staff are very friendly. Good coffee too! The interior could do with a makeover but don't let that turn you off!
