This was a great stop for a break. We enjoyed the food and drinks, and the shop is very comfortable.

We dropped in for coffee but couldn't resist the cakes. All are home made and the choice is immense. We were served by a lovely young Italian girl from Mantua who was delightful and super friendly. The coffee was great and the cakes were wonderful. Go there ...

We had breakfast here and enjoyed tea/coffee. The place is small and vintage. The staff is friendly.

We popped in here for a quick coffee and some toast and what a lovely welcome, the staff were really nice and very helpful, only for we had plans for lunch we would have definitely stayed a bit longer. We ordered some scrambled eggs and the lady (who I think was the manager) decided that they were not cooked properly... More

The desserts are of a nice variety. I had the apple torte with cream. It came warmed and was very good. Nice place for a cup of tea or coffee and a break from walking around Kilkenny. They also seem to have sandwiches, quiches, etc. The place is spotless and the staff is very attentive.

Myself and my daughter visited this little jewel on our recent trip to Kilkenny, we both felt so at home sitting beside the fire :-) we received a very warm welcome from the moment we walked in by the owners. We got soup and sandwiches and the soup was delicious homemade and tasted very healthy. The food was so fresh... More
