Full of atmosphere and staff pleasant. Live music , most definitely worth a visit for a drink. Small venue so probably not an all night location.

Lipstick on glass! Long wait for cold food. Expensive. Certainly won't be returning. Don't recommend.

We stopped, for a quick lunch. Soup and sandwich were very good. Service was decent. Decor/atmosphere are what tourists (like ourselves) would expect... very colloquial and fun.

Unfortunately we were too late for food, but when we walked in there was the kind of Irish music I was hoping to hear. We r from Newfoundland so we know good Irish music. Several guests in the audience from Kilkenny also sang. It was fabulous. And as we were in Kilkenny that's the beer we ordered and it to... More

Visited the Field last Saturday night. It is small but very nice people here. It was late night so we didn't have food. We did sample their drink, and it is reasonably. There was a large crowd of us, (20). There was no problem either entering the premises or getting a drink. The bar staff were sound and the door... More

Lovely atmosphere and lively Irish music. Had the fish and chips and were well pleased. Another group ordered and they had run out of fish & chips so we shared ours and I got a kiss! Good Guinness beer on tap as all have on tap.

This bar is so irish. It is a lovely lively friendly bar with music ongoing most of the day into the evening. We did not eat here but the food looked lovely. We spent a few hours listening to the music and the Craic. Great atmosphere.

We arrived into the field . It was bustling and vibrant , it's a small bar but has plenty of atmosphere . We arrived at the bar and ordered our drink . The drink was banged down in front is us and the change dropped on the counter which was soaking wet . The same bar then whistled at another... More
