My wife and I visited the Curragower again and the place keeps getting better and better. The menu is simple yet varied and great value. The food was outstanding. I went for the Falls burger (never disappoints!) and my wife had the seafood burger (it was a special and she would highly recommend it!). They really opened up the place... More

This place is very comfortable and has a nice atmosphere. It was cold out and it was warm and comfortable. We had no issue getting a table even though there was a soccer match on and the bar area is a bit small. The best part was the food. My boyfriend had the fish n' chips which he said was... More

Recently went there because my boyfriend was raving about a special burger in there called "Dexter" . It was the most amazing burger ever and came with caramelized onions, bacon and homemade chips!! 😍 this is a great place for a cosy wet winters day and an even better place when the sun is shining and social drinks! All around... More

Visited with a few friends and usually just stop for pints but decided to try some grub. It was quick, informal and great tasting. The lads raved about the chowder and I had the lamb shank which was resturant quality. The view of the castle and the falls made it all the better. Will be visiting again soon.

Went early December for lunch on a Saturday and had the wings which were great as usual. Went mid week early for a bowl of chowder - the place was empty and had to wait over 20 minutes for the Chowder to come out & it wasn't as nice as the last time, but the bread is delicious. Went again... More

The pub is real old world with nooks and crannies abounding. But the best bit about this pub is definitely the Spicy chicken wings. Not only is it a huge portion but the sauce is amazing. both spicy hot and zesty. We worth the money. Add a pint of craft beer and everything is awesome!.

Recommended by a friend. Cozy little pub and restaurant. Very friendly staff. Seafood chowder was amazing! Reasonable prices, good food, and on the other side of the river from most of the commotion.

Outrageous prices in this establishment for what is essentially fried fast food. The boom must really be back.
