This restaurant was once a favourite of ours. However we arrived there this morning for brunch to find a hand written note which read " No brunc today or tomorrow". Nothing on the website advising this. This is not the first time this has happened. Some time ago we drove there one Wednesday afternoon with a view to having dinner... More

Every time I go to the Seabord with my Mum it never disappoints .. Food wise...not a fan of the chairs but I over look that because the food is great served hot to your table.. Staff are attentive but not overly so.. Lara is always very quick and attentive in particular...Thank You

I'm a little surprised about the few negative comments about the Eastern Seaboard. Friend of ours living in the area have always spoken highly of the food and the service here and last night we finally got to go. Our expectations were high as we had already been told how great it is...and it really didn't disappoint. First impressions as... More

Our first visit here last night. Nicely designed, trendy styling etc. Menu reads well but doesn't deliver. Lot of new staff wearing tags saying 'In Training' - is this cool...apparently. My husband's starter of Duck salad was under seasoned and bland with a large wedge of cold unrendered fat around the edge - tasted like lard. We didn't complain -... More

We recently had a family gathering here for a birthday dinner, there were 17 of us in the group, and I must say I was very underwhelmed by the whole experience, the service was appalling to say the least. We had to call the staff all the time for water, to clear the table, not once did they come over to... More

We've been regular visitors to this restaurant but have noticed it rapidly going downhill. We decided today to give it another go!! I ordered haddock and chips. Was tucking away into the chips when I noticed a long thick black hair right in the middle of the chip basket. Called a waitress over who barely passed any remarks but did... More

Once a favourite of ours however we arrived this morning for brunch to find a handwritten sign as follows " No brunc today or tomorrow " and this is not the first time this has happened. Nothing on the website. Very unprofessional. We won't be back.

The food is pretty good but the service is bad and customer loyalty is none existent. Had a voucher that was just out of date and they (the owner) refused to honour it even though we are regularly in the place.

Met a group of here for Sunday brunch. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was relaxed and we lingered for ages after eating without coming under any pressure to free up the table even though they were getting busy. The food was delicious and in just the right amount. The decor is shabby chic so I will excuse... More

i had lunch here yesterday. i thought the food was good although i would have liked my soup to have been a bit hotter. The grilled prawns were excellent . The salads and burgers that i saw served loked really good. The service was good. Its a bit pricey but the food is worth the visit.
