The atmosphere the restaurant the food the staff the service the owner it was all magical. Had my birthday dinner here before heading to a show. All I can say is it exceeded expectations. The chicken wings were scrumptious and the chicken and bacon salad was fantastic. The owner Pat was so nice and gave us a glass of wine... More

We hadn't made reservations, but they were able to seat us straightaway. We had the option of the 'early evening' menu, which also included a wine option. I don't think it was strictly traditional Italian food but we really enjoyed starters and pizza.

We arrived on Hallowe'en night so assumed the darkened interior was part of their decorations - but apparently it's always like that. This is a good Italian restaurant offering the usual range of pasta and pizza dishes plus a smattering of other Italian favourites. Friendly staff and a good bustle about the place

Having booked a table we were seated upstairs in the restaurant on a recent Saturday night. we were left waiting for an hour for our main course without having starters, while other customers late arriving were served before us maybe due to the fact that we were not there typical middle aged group. Three of the same dish was ordered... More

Located in the Italian quarter. We arrived just in time to qualify for the early bird menu (ending at 6:30), and stayed until 8:00! Great pizza and pasta, wonderful gluten free options. Food portions large, so choose apps or dessert! Staff attentive and not intrusive. Great bargain for the meal, service and location.

We were a group of 4 and we rang to book a table at the Bistro. We had been told that this restaurant was a good place to eat. We were told that they only book 50% of the restaurant and that was full up and then they leave the other 50% for walk ins. When we got there they... More

So. Myself and three friends were staying for the weekend in Sligo and three separate people recommended this place. We rang to make a reservation but were told they were 50% booked and were taking "walk-ins" We went to the reception and were advised "it's a 40-45min wait for a table" but we were free to go to the wine...
