I had the lamb which came in a surprisingly large portion with delicious spiced veg. The staff were very attentive (and actually French) and the wines we had were very nice from the extensive menu they had on offer. Setting/ambiance was perfect as well. Would...More

Lovely little french restaurant. The building itself is stunning, with exposed stone walls. The food is very good but i think it is a touch over-priced to be fair. Other than that, Very nice

I've now been to La Boheme twice and it's been a pleasure both times. The food is on-par with any I've had all over Ireland and one could argue it deserves it's recommendation in the Michelin guide & perhaps even more. The venue itself is...More

Dear Lyngf, I spoke with you yesterday evening regarding your lost voucher, I was neither condescending or rude, just matter of fact and tried my best to explain our policy. Unfortunately you were not a very willing listener, and had you not hung up on...More

Description
La Bohème Restaurant is housed in the vaults of the Georgian ‘Port of Waterford’ building – an historic property which has been associated with the local Chamber of Commerce for many years.Proprietors Christine and Eric Théze have patiently restored this magnificent space to create an inviting and intimate atmosphere. Its original flagstone floors, limewashed walls and vaulted ceilings are unique and particular to Waterford. The design of the restaurant is sympathetic to the architecture of the building, with influences of New Baroque. The restaurant combines ornate antiques and decoration with modern touches creating an eclectic, decadent interior.La Bohème is a restaurant where the pleasures of the table are in accord with the décor, blending modern delicacies with recipes passed down from generation to generation. Enjoy an aperitif at our beautiful pewter bar while perusing the menu and whetting your appetite.‘Here at La Bohème we pride ourselves in going the extra mile to give our customers a dining experience beyond comparison’
