We had a wonderful dinner here last night. The staff could not have been nicer- professional and friendly. The food was delicious. Their famous crab mornay did not disappoint and the seafood bake was superb. Will be back when in the area again

Great seafood restaurant. Very professional and knowledgeable staff. The lobster is sold by weight. Seafood pie is to die for. Quite pricey. You get what you pay for.

We had lovely food here. Interior is nice-old pub style. A few notices up about minding your children etc which is a bit off putting. I wouldn't bring kids back. Food nice though. Prompt service. Good selection of drinks

The Lobster Pot has become an annual hi-light of a trip of 6 German friends to the October Wexford Opera festival. This quaint, remote, low-roofed, cozy and intimate restaurant serves mostly sumptuous seafood (and, you guessed it, fine lobster). Big beer selection on tap. The staff soon becomes like family. Not to be missed, if in the neighborhood. Not easy... More

We visited in Nov so not peak season and we went on a weekday evening at about 4pm. Like others said the huge no buggies and no children after 7 should have flagged it with us. There was no specific incident but the lady owner made it clear we were being watched and we both felt really uncomfortable. Asides from... More

My partner and I visited this hostelry on the basis of her last visit some 22 years ago!! It is an amazing little place but with a big heart and great food. I mean, you won't leave there hungry. I opted for the 'Crusted Cod Bake' and it was absolutely delightful. The service was second to none and the atmosphere... More

This is an historic pub and restaurant. Haven't been for many years but was impressed by the quality of food and service. The pub is snug and welcoming .Walking behind the bar into the dining room reveals an impressive dining area and choosing your lobster from the tank in the kitchen adds to the dining experience. The food is outstanding,the... More

Very good food in pleasant surroundings. It was a pity that after spending a significant amount without tea and coffee top- ups - no cookies any longer !! What a pity to leave with that after a lovely meal.

We enjoyed a very pleasant seafood lunch with nice wine and tasty Guinness . The. chowder was first class and the crab claws delicious . Staff are perhaps a little over enthusiastic on the up sell but at the same time their friendly service cannot be faulted . This is place worth a little trip out of Wexford . Most... More
