4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW via mobile

Do the bray to greystones walk every now and then and always stop in here, coffee does always be great, food is nice especially if you are a vegetarian, long ques on occasion but that's for a reason it is a great place to eat, drink and be merry.

I am not a vegetarian but I thought I would give The Happy Pear a try, a very original menu with what at first were odd combination's, I had a carrot salad and a beetroot, feta cheese and pumpkin seed burger, it sounded an odd combination but tasted excellent, the staff are really friendly and efficient and there are lots... I was looking forward to the chance to eat here for a special occasion. I had heard it gets very busy for lunch so I planned to get there for 12pm. The business model the owners are following is admirable. While the choice on the menu is small the food quality is excellent and unique. However I was disappointed at... More

I found the happy pear through YouTube, being a fan of the owners YouTube channel I knew I wanted to visit if I got the chance to go to Ireland. Luckily I got to go to Ireland as a Christmas holiday with my partner. We dropped by the happy pear and we're quite surprised at how pretty it looked on... More

If you are looking for a cosy place that serves vegetarian food and cares for the environment, this is your place! Different original choices, good prices. Ordered amazing pumpkin and feta lasagna (incredible taste!) and salad on the side. Nice staff, well-run place despite being busy. We'll be back!

Great atmosphere and buzz about the place. All the staff smiling and enjoying the job. Portions very generous. Has Wi-Fi. The Happy Pair very helpful in signing their for for my granddaughter. Small ticketed car park beside the place, I was lucky twice dfc2007

We really enjoyed the location, the decoration, the different rooms and the courtyard, where we had our meal. Everything was very tasty, good portions. We tried the sweet potato+ginger+coconut soup, the Hungarian Goulash, the beetroot+feta hamburger and the lentil Dahl. To finish, we shopped lots of organic products! We will definitely come back!

Have been here reasonably regularly over the last couple of years and have by and large enjoyed my visits. Unfortunately yesterday certainly left a lot to be desired. Standing at the window where they serve just coffees the girl resolutely ignored me for a full 15 minutes. I asked very politely if I could order coffee here and she said... More

In order to walk off the Christmas Turkey it was suggested we walk from Bray to Grey stones and back. So after parking a car in Bray we walked along the Railway line to Greystones and arrived ahead of time. So what do you do only look for a nice coffee shop that was open. We found the Happy Pear...
