We were down this neck of the woods and thought we would try out this place, I was so disappointed half my chips were scraps and the fish over cooked and because of this it was very dry, was so looking forward to my fish...and chips by the coast I ended up ditching them! I think being a coastal place you would expect really good fish and chips a big let down.More

Have been getting cod & chips from here for many years, always good. But today husband came back with 2 cod, large chips and curry sauce, fish size has decreased but price increased to £21.80!! This is eye watering and so it ceases to be...an occasional treat for us. Sorry but won't be visiting again.More

went out of my way home last night to buy fish n chips here- they've always been good- neon window sign says 'open' = excellent, sign on door said 'open', join the queue behind a chap who had returned having a sausage and chips missing...from his order, waited 8 mins to be told, we've stopped frying, sorry... why not change your open signs and why let me queue for 8 mins before you tell me you're closed???? as i left a guy went to enter (signs still said open' i said theyre closed- he wasnt convinced and went in, as i left car park he too left empty handed, sign still said open!More

Used to come here every few weeks on the way to North Norfolk years ago, and the fish and chips were the best around. Remembering this I made a detour to get lunch here. I ended up with the tiniest piece of 'medium cod' I've...ever seen. It was just a square, about 1/3 of the size you would get in the fish and chip shops around the coast, and more expensive! Chewy batter on the fish, but chips were ok. On the plus side the shop looked very clean inside.More

Best fish and chips for miles during lockdown they had the best system we saw anywhere to safeguard themselves and their customers. Often go here polite staff prompt service can’t fault them in any way. Our favourite place for fish and chips.
