We stopped here for coffee in a beautiful shaded courtyard. Great coffee (even the decaffeinated version) and good banter from the English host. Food looked great. Toilet immaculate. We will definitely come here again.

Well worth a visit to settle down in the dapple shade of the courtyard, to have lunch in a very friendly atmosphere and then explore the gems that Vouvant have to offer. The food is simple, well cooked and well presented and I would go again and again. If you are from the UK, it is a relief to hear... More

The atmosphere here is second to none with friendly staff eager to make your visit a happy memory for ever. When you bite into the Beef and Guinness Pie you suddenly realise how wonderful it is to be Irish, because this is the best Guinness pie outside of "St. James's Gate". All the other options on the menu are equally... More

We had a lovely relaxed lunch at this delightful restaurant. We opted for the quiet courtyard to eat which can be a little sun trap . All was clean and we'll presented . Food was very good . Friendly service in both french and English . Well recommended.

We stopped in for lunch after visiting Tour Melusine. The couple that runs the place were exceptionally friendly (and English-speaking, which was a nice change of pace after over a week in France). The omelettes and the carrot cake were delicious.

We visited in October, and it was still warm enough to sit outside in the pretty courtyard. The owners were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble and the food was amazing. My husband and I had the lamb shank, and I still think about it 4 months later, it was amazing, and with a lovely glass of wine one... More

Description
Friendly hosts and good food, together with a beautiful courtyard full of flowers - what more could you want for a relaxing lunch or afternoon tea. Open late on Friday evenings in the summer, the cafe provides a perfect meeting place for a meal or a drink and an evening with friends. Draught beers and Irish cider available, together with good local French wines and beers. All food is home-cooked to order and the English sponge cakes are the best around!
