It's gone downhill massively. They brought our mains before our starters, and what did arrive was pretty low quality. Upon asking, it turns out they have a new chef. I use the term 'chef' loosely. My colleague and I went walking the streets of Peterborough having the need to stay over with work. We really fancied an authentic pasta dish so another pizzeria suggested we go to the Pizza Parlour and gave us directions (they only served pizzas). We were...pleasantly surprised by this ‘golden gem’ in the heart of Peterborough close to the Cathedral Square. It’s chilled relaxed ambiance was inviting. The colleague who served us was a friendly helpful delight. The food was delicious. We were both very impressed and said next time we’re in the area, we will definitely go back. I had meatballs with spaghetti and added some chillis to spice it up a little, my colleague had arrabbiata with rigatoni. We also had bread basket and olives to start, and then garlic bread with the mains. Two for one on Cocktails too - we did only have two as it was a work trip! One of the best Italian meals I have had the pleasure to experience, it was so delicious and very filling - we couldn’t eat it all. I cannot fault anything with this place - a little bit of heaven! My Sister and I have have frequently ate here and never been disappointed. I took my American Partner here for the first time a few days ago and he couldn't wait to go back again today. Natalia makes a wonderful Manager and the young waitress...today (sorry I didn't catch your name) was a great host too. I think my sister and I just took this place for granted. We have always had good service with good food and great smiles, i guess thats why we keep going back. I don't think I appreciated it as much as I should have done until my Partner pointed out just what a fabulous place it is with the best Italian food. Keep doing what you're doing guys. We were served by Eva who greeted us with a friendly smile. She was happy throughout our meal. The food was delicious and more than enough. Served to our table hot. Price was very good. £7 for half a pizza with choice of toppings, chips...and lovely fresh salad. Great music playing. Had a read of the reviews on TripAdvisor before deciding to give it a try, as we are not really pizza eating people, when going out for a meal. But after this we have certainly been converted. We were shown to our table by a...friendly member of staff, situated by the kitchen. I like watching how food is produced, so not a problem as too some it may have been. It was a very busy place when we got there around 12:15, which to me a busy place is a good place. The walls adorned with pictures of music artists from the past, again very nice. Our waitress came and asked what we would like to drink, and took our order. A few minutes After she returned with the drinks and took our food order of a starter to share of ciabatta bread, and the main we both had the Toscana half pizza with salad and chips. The bread came toasted with olive oil and balsamic dip, very nice and crunchy light starter. The main was the half Toscana pizza with the salad and chips. The pizza was amazing, the sausage was not too spicy. The tomato base was nice and rich, and the pizza base thin and crispy. Salad and the chips were very good as well. After eating and very much enjoying the meal, we both agreed we did not need the bread to start with, as the main was filling enough. The value for money we felt was excellent, as it is not often you can get a main sit down meal for £7 each ( not including drink) Total for whole meal, starter, mains and drinks, £25.50 Bargain Both left full and saying we would and will come back againMore

I hadn’t been back in over a year. I was with a large group of friends and decided to try a bee sting pizza. I’m inconveniently unable to consume gluten and lactose and gluten and dairy free are options in this restaurant. I had a...gluten free bee sting pizza with vegan cheese, with a couple of extra toppings, and a couple of mocktails. The pizza crust was thinner and crispier this year, and it was served piping hot which was great! The pizza wasn’t as spicy as I was hoping for, but it was very tasty and the mocktails were too! It was a little loud in the small space, so conversing was a bit of a struggle at times, but it’s still a good ambiance anyway. I will certainly be back again. I’m looking forward to trying some of the other pizzas!More

Visited with a friend for a few drinks yesterday, we were sat outside and had the pleasure of Kaylee’s company whilst she was doing an incredible job drumming up business. She was extremely polite, funny, and very professional. She’s a credit to the restaurant!

On arrival, we were greeted by the lovely team, despite the fact we had booked a table for 7 covers @5.30pm, and paid £35 deposit, our booking was nowhere to be found. After some discussions, we were seated and had attentive service, by all the...team. Amber was superb and interacted with us all. We came for my daughters 13th, and she loved the birthday surprise!! All our food was great, yes, its expensive to dine out now, and drinks are expensive, but this was a 'treat' and worth every hard earned penny. Thoroughly recommend Pizza Parlour for any occasion.More

Lovely stop for some drinks with a friend. Had a couple of drinks with a basket of bread and oil. Kaylee was fantastic and kept us company whilst outside. Love this place!!

We made a (very) last minute booking for 16 when the place we’d booked flooded. The staff were really accommodating and friendly. The kids menu is brilliant value. The pizzas and pasta were delicious. And the alcohol free cocktails tasty. Everyone left really happy and...well fed. Happy family!More
