On arrive the food smelt amazing. I choose mackerel Pate to start which was amazing, the beetroot pickle was something i wanted... More

During our early March visit to dear old Harrogate, we used this hallowed fish restaurant twice... and had quite the nicest fish and chips, seated, on a platter, this side of the border with Scotland. A no-nonsense, Yorkshire-style model of a quality restaurant presenting good value to its many regulars and visitors alike. Always friendly, consistently busy, deserving to survive... More

My partner is a coeliac and they were able to prepare her a gluten free fish and chips (which is fairly rare to find). Very hospitable and accommodating establishment with tremendously friendly staff.

We ate here and enjoyed it. The sharing platter was plenty for 2 and the lobster bisque delicious. We would recommend this place.

Harrogate now has over 70 eating establishments and so many lack consistency. Great one visit, mediocre or worse the next! Except for Graveleys. It's always great but of course if fish is not your thing then this place won't be for you. It's been re-furbed recently, the service is great, the staff are always friendly and courteous and the food... More

A friend and I eat at Graveleys once a month, partake in the same menu, welcomed by very friendly staff in a crisp environment The lightly battered plaice is divine, not to be missed. As for the Movenpick Chocolate Chip ice cream, that's mind blowing paul Charriotman

At 5o'clock in the evening you would expect a warm welcome in an empty restaurant. Not at Graveleys! A frosty welcome waited because we did not have a booking and though we were grugingly given a table it was in the back cupboard with all the atmosphere of an undertakers! We left...... perhaps the frosty lady on reception should pop... More
