Efficient and friendly

Can easily see why this bar cafe is so highly rated. It's like a well-oiled machine but very friendly as well as efficient. Food is really good and served fresh and hot - ate here twice and equally good on both occasions. Dog friendly. Local...daleside beer was lovely, recommended by them too.More

Lovely pizza and nice atmosphere

A dull damp Sunday afternoon- just called in for a quick drink because it looked so welcoming and warm and saw the pizza’s. Had the veggie olive one to share and it was delicious and reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and good service. Would...definitely recommend a visit here.More

Friendly but poor service

Had passed before while visiting Harrogate and decided to give it a go. It was a Friday lunch time about 2ish and wasn't even half full. Waited 10 minutes before being asked what drinks we wanted, waited probably another 10 before receiving them and ordering...food. Eventually got our food at about 3pm, way too long to wait. When it came time to pay, asked a guy behind the bar who told me to speak to his colleagues along the bar, who were busier than he was, was ignored,then the first guy i asked ended up taking payment. At least the food was good. Won't be returning unfortunatelyMore

Brilliant bar and dog friendly

Pizza heaven- Anyone in Harrogate, don’t go anywhere else. Please don’t use the chains as you will be disappointed. Fantastic beers and food 5*

Great real ale and food in Harrogate

Great selection of real ales, lovely staff and cracking pizzas. Nice, spacious venue and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Great find

Great place that we stumbled upon. Would defo recommend. I had poached egg on smashed avocado on sour dough toast. Coffee was t the best. Service great.

Excellent breakfast / brunch!

What a find! Had a lovely breakfast. Portions were generous and were delicious. Service was good too! We’ll definitely be back when next in Harrogate

Great Find

We came across this bar whilst walking through Harrogate and what a find it was. The staff are really friendly and very helpful. We ordered two half pizzas, one white men can jerk and the other was the firestarter and a side of chips. Don't...be fooled by the half pizza as a full pizza each arrived, when we asked, they advised that they just use half the dough we certainly did not need the chips!!. The food was really nice and good value as were the drinks. We were lucky getting a table as 10 mins after we arrived all tables were either reserved or taken. Next time we will book to avoid any potential disappointment.More

What a lovely relaxed, welcoming place to eat

Really lovely welcome. Invited us to join the Sunday evening quiz. Given a choice of which table to sit at. Attentive staff. Great pizza - so lovely to be offered half pizza- delicious salad. Highly recommend.

Great pizza and friendly staff

Decided on the spur of the moment having just arrived in Harrogate to book a table at Starling Kitchen. Arrived 30 minutes before our booking and the guys behind the bar were so friendly and offered us another table to have a drink at as...our booked table wasn’t ready. The place has a great vibe and our pizza and poutine were superb. I had the Heidi pizza (goats cheese, courgette, pesto and pine nuts,) while my husband had the White Men Can Jerk pizza and the chef swapped out the red onions for roasted peppers. Sadly we were too full for dessert which was a disappointment as the chocolate brownie and ice cream looked tempting. Loved the place.More

Great place for a late breakfast.

Always come here for breakfast. Had great Yorkshire Rarebit. Place has been extended and now is real ale pub on an evening - will definitelt try that next time in Harrogate.

Lovely Beer and Pizza

Lovely ale pub which you get top notch Pizzas and fries. Nice relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. Totally dog friendly too. Highly recommended.
