Easy to see why Pranzo is the highest rated restaurant on trip advisor, food & service both fantastic, menus a breath of fresh air in comparison to a lot of mediocre chains. We visited the Ilkley Pranzo in October which was equally as amazing!!

Lovely venue however we booked a particular table due to a colleague been before. We did not get our table as requested as another party had been placed there. Another table was offered however we had just sat down coats off etc. Food specials advertised...on boards not available? 2 menus available 1 main and a festive menu. My colleague order a desert which came incomplete and had to go back therefore by the time she received it we had finished ours. Confusion with bill. We asked for 3 separate bills due to having to claim back etc. Optional service charge added without being asked. I was overcharged for my desert. Bills very small writing need to be clearer especially if you ate partially sighted. Staff happy to refund however new till system in place and this was not possible. Details left with restaurant and hoping for refund today??. Food was very nice however young staff and some training may be useful.More

Second time around just as good if not better. We found this lovely place last year, and this year we had an even better time. You are not rushed here, you have time to enjoy your cocktail and have conversation inbetween your meals. You can...tell everything is made fresh and the ingredients are quality. The staff are knowledgeable and attentive and, our server (brown hair in a pony tail) was lovely and nothing was too much for her. Feedback. You fresh made bread and dip needs a bigger place on the menu or even it's own menu, as this was the best combination we've had! Visited this evening on a date night with my husband. Food was delicious if not little bit pricey for Harrogate. Our waitress was efficient to the point of curt! and tried to up sell us the most expensive bottle of rose on the wine list.

Lovely local restaurant with excellent food and service. Staff are always very welcoming and helpful especially Jade.

Excellent food friendly efficient waiters nice ambiance... I would highly recommend this restaurant. We had the seafood dish it was exceptionally good.

Visited as a belated Birthday celebration for my father, the atmosphere was brilliant which we weren't expecting on a cold midweek night, plenty of tables all having a great time. Staff were attentive and helpful, offering to explain through the menu and being very quick...with drink service. I had the Monkfish special which was a delight. My father had the Sea food pasta which he said was very good. Finished the meal with an Irish coffee and the Brownie which were fantastic. I'd definately recommend it.More

We’ve lived in Harrogate for years and only in the last year have branched out to try Pranzo. Haven’t looked back since! Food is divine - you can tell that the pasta is completely homemade and freshly prepared. The service is excellent, and we feel...really looked after by the staff when we visit. An absolute must try.More
