Enjoyed a Saturday evening here but it had been busy and the place was dirty with chips on the floor and tables not cleared. Despite this the food was good, well presented and we did not have a long wait. I would return but perhaps not at peak time.

I went here with my family for an evening meal. I ordered at the bar with my daughter in law. We were served by a young lad who I have to say took ages to sort out our order of 5 meals an three starters. We did ask for adjustment on some of the meals however we didn't expect every... More

This location is very close to home we absolutely love it for a quick night out, or just a drink with friends. The last time we were here was on Sunday 7th. Unfortunately they were out of the things we ordered so we ordered something different we got our food and we were told that they ran out of vegetables... More

We lunched on Friday - open aspect around the bar - light and airy with plenty of room between tables. Menu choices extensive including one for Brunch - with eggs any way you want them! We ordered Cod and Chips plus Smoked Haddock and Spring Onion fishcakes. Both were delicious - the cod flaking off as it should. The waitress... More

We went to the "teddy" on a Friday night with our friends who we were visiting in the area. The weather was good and the vibe of the place, persona and atmosphere buzzing. It was very busy yet did not have to wait that long to be served. All four of us had food and the food was of very... More

My partner and I visited on Monday 3rd for a quick weeknight meal and a few drinks. The pub was pretty empty, but the immature and unprofessional bar staff still struggles with even the most simple of orders. They were more interested in chatting with their friends who were in the pub than serving customers and left us waiting to... More

We've eaten here before on Sunday and had wonderful roast meals, but yesterday it was awful. Firstly the table top was dirty, and there were squashed chips on the floor by my chair. Surely it is possible to wipe the tables beytween sittings, no matter how busy? My beef was so tough that I wrapped it and bought it home... More

It is always a 'nice' place to be. I haven't been here for 3 years. NOW I find it has hiked its prices dramatically. I think (would you believe) Hungry Horse outlets are better in most respects. My meal last evening was extremely cold - like it had been standing around for 15 mins before it got to me. Also... More

Has been a while since I had been here. I do like this pub, it's a friendly place with a great atmosphere. We managed to find a table easily, and there were a few people. I had the Hunter's chicken and my boyfriend the fish and chips. My chicken was dry and tough, but edible. I had the lattice fries... More
