Visited Derby for the weekend dropping off my son at Uni. Stayed at the Premier Inn. Had 2 evening meals in The Mallard and can't fault them in anything. Staff and servers were friendly, accommodating and a great laugh. Food was excellent and reasonably priced.

Went Sunday lunchtime for a catchup with family food was good and hot well cooked staff when they did approach us were pleasant and polite
Very cold with A/C on if on the wrong table, plus very rowdy familly next to us that where not challenged by management. They where too intimidated by them. Expensive lesson for us to learn. Won't be returning.
