Excellent venue for a treat, food and service were faultless, the only down side was that it was a bit chilly. It was January so being in a conservatory always had potential.

Well cooked and presented from an imaginative menu with choices to suit most tastes. My wife thought that the soy marinated halibut was the best she had ever eaten.

Went here recently for a pre Christmas meal with friends. Really disappointed with the food. Had a tuna ceviche thing to start that was absolutely average. Followed by monkfish with a chorizo crust that had no seasoning whatsoever. Quite a feat to do something involving...More

We liked everything about the hotel and couldn't think of anything that could have made it better. The food was excellent and there was plenty of choice.

A friend invited me here for lunch. I felt £20 for 3 courses was good value. The service was excellent. The food was very average. I had a very bland chicken pate, a slow cooked lamb dish which was quite tough. This was served with...More

Friendly, welcoming staff. Able to have pre-dinner drinks in a comfortable airy lounge in front of a well stoked log fire. Also able to make lunch time meal choices from the comfort of this lounge. Good selection of dishes on the menu to cater for...More
