Myself and my partner have been here several times because the food is quite nice, especially considering the value but the service is nearly always shocking or even non existent. On our most recent visit we counted 4 staff who walked straight past us and actually felt like they were avoiding us. The manager eventually came over and offered drinks... More

Me and my fiancé visited here a couple of weeks ago and was very disappointed. We used to come here at least once a week but we will not be returning. We asked for ketchup and mayo and got given mayo and bbq. I ordered a chicken passanda and it tasted very tomatoey. Then I found a hair in it... More

Saturday lunch time but the place was not full. Good menu and lots of specials on the board. Well decorated and roomy new place however they seem under staffed. Our waiter tried hard but everything seemed slow and heard several other complaints about slow delivery of food. Good rather over cooked so disappointing overall.

Visited with a friend. Was my second visit and was much better than the last time last year (new management?). Food was excellent and the staff extremely friendly. Tables nice and clean, no stickiness! Definitely recommend to everyone.

Fish & chip meal and steak pie meal were huge and delicious. So much better than I expected for this type of establishment. The service could have been better. Although the waitress was only about 16, she could have learnt manners and hoe to smile. Clean place, lots of parking

As we came into the bar/restaurant we were told it was a table service. However, we were made to wait 15 mins before even being asked for a drinks order! Made to wait over 15 mins for our first drink to be delivered!! The 30 mins it has taken to get a drink I would've been on my second by... More

Slightly disappointed with our visit here. The food was ok but the service was very poor. They were not very busy but we had to wait ages to be served. The pub is fine, good parking, good location and good choice of food. We have been to other similar Marstons pubs and all have been better than this one.
