A best pub in town! About ten real ales on and quite a few good tastes. Cosy busy pub and a throw back to the old days. Very friendly atmosphere.

This little tiny pub is fab for ale a proper little "local" definately not for kids. Brilliant staff always friendly.
Not bad, friendly staff and good atmosphere for an authentic English pub (I presume, not being English). Regularly busy on a late Friday afternoon through to closing time. Has a good patio for sitting outside in summer months (I presume not knowing summer, being Scottish).
This is a basic locals pub, friendly enough and the real ale is well kept. Not modern in any sense but sometimes that's just what you want from a pub.
Just great beer. Wooden settles and friendly bar staff. I wasn't aware of food being served so I wouldn't describe it as a restaurant. The beer's good though!
