The food was pretty average, contrary to the reviews. It certainly wasn't bad at all, but not the best either. However, something happened which drew a complaint from me to the management, but wasn't even extended the courtesy of an acknowledgement.
this hidden gem of a pub is outstanding value for money, £7.95 for a sunday carvery and also cheaper mid week, service is great and you help yourself to a range of veg. 10/10
