food was lovely but the girls at reception were not happy to welcome people of colour. they accused me of not having booked the high tea and made me dial the number i booked. how embarrassing! as the phone rang in front of her. what a way to prove a booking.

Myself and two friends recently spent a delightful afternoon at Hadely Park. Afternoon Tea was second to none. Cakes, Club Sandwiches, Hot Sausage Rolls, Mini Quiche - not forgetting the Fresh Scones, Loads of Clotted Cream and Jam. Delicious. Atmosphere friendly, Staff very attentive. Cleanliness, perfect. Altogether a top class experience, Hopefully, I'll be back - soon. Thanks to all... More

We visited with friends (8 of us in total), to celebrate a special birthday over the Christmas period. The staff were very helpful in planning the event and although we were the only party in the small dining room, it had a nice atmosphere as it had been tastefully decorated and Christmas music was played in the background. The staff... More

Went for afternoon tea with the family. Nice surroundings in a lovely setting. Great place nice and clean but not quite there with the food. Bit flat with the cakes only a Bakewell tart plus the obligatory scone which is expected.

Was here to attend masquerade ball, but this was changed late on to just normal meal. However, the staff & place are lovely, very hospitable. Food was delicious, for main I had blade of beef, which melted in the mouth truly lovely. Shame the ball was cancelled, but we had an enjoyable night all the same.

When we arrived, we were put in a small lounge all to ourselves there was no music playing, so we asked for some. We have just returned from a three-course Christmas meal. I made the reservation, paid a deposit for three people, then changed the date a week later - they were very obliging about changing the booking. Our third friend was unable to come, but they allowed the deposit to be transferred to the other 2 meals, which was great. The waiter... More
