Overall a very poor experience!. One Cheeseburger meal & one Roast Pork meal. Cheeseburger was thrown together on a cold unappetizing bun, with the end of the onion bits in it, no burger sauce/Ketchup/mustard just dry & awful.Roast Pork slices didn't taste to bad to...More

We stopped by for lunch in this traditional old pub. Good food, reasonably priced food, courteous friendly service and the ale is well kept too: old speckled hen. We had fish pie and surf n turf; all good. Highly recommended

Had dinner here a few times now and the steak is one of the best in Crawley. Not too bad cost wise and so far always good quality. Bar staff normally friendly if not at points a bit short some evenings.

As I approached through the modern shopping centre, I was expecting a galls and concrete pub. However the building dates back over 600 years and is reassuringly brown. There is a fine selection of cask beer and real cider, and while didn't try the food,...More

Great selection of beers. The food is very reasonable and typical pub food. Order at the bar and they bring it to your tables, hot and ready to eat. I'd recommend the brie burger.

I ordered the chicken gougons with salad, the chicken was badly overcooked and the salad was stale and dry, when I mentioned this I was told replacement would come. After 20 mins of waiting I gave up

As the title says in my humble opinion! Good choice of beers, excellent value food and when there is a big rugby game on you'll find it here on the screens. Good size seating area outside too...

Description
A historic pub on the High Street in Crawley. Friendly staff are here to help. A wide range of food to cater for everyone and every event, from quick work lunches and lunches during a trip out shopping to a family dinner next to the fire during the winter months or outside during summer. A wide range of real ales and tradition ciders served everyday. We have featured in The CAMRA Good Beer Guide every year since 2012. Fridays and Saturday night we are open late with chart music playing all night. Prefect place to pre-drink before moving onto the night clubs or just a social night out sitting on the sofas and having a laugh. BT and Sky sports showing all the sports here too.
