Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience here. My husband booked this as a little surprise for me and our son. We asked to be moved from the door as the breeze kept coming through which made us cold, as it’s quite a wind tunnel in...The Hub. We were told we couldn’t move because another booking was coming and that the other table was for them, so we said that’s fine. However, my three year old son ended up smashing his mouth off of the glass table due to their unsafe chairs, he cut his mouth and was bleeding (witnessed by staff) my husband also almost fell forward due to the chairs. The chairs we were sat on, were kind of like a rocking horse without back leg support, so they slip forward on hard floors like in Fabrice. The waitress came to check if he was ok and I wanted to leave at this point, but we had promised my son pancakes. After this happened, we were then moved to the table that we were told we weren’t allowed to move to originally, which has a sofa, so safer to sit on. We even had to ask for ice as his lip was swollen, bleeding and bruised. Yet no one else asked how he was including the manager who witnessed it all. There was no offer of a free drink for my son or anything, but we would have just liked some acknowledgment or responsibility for the terribly designed chairs and an apology at the least. The food came out within minutes.. which suggests it wasn’t cooked fresh and was mediocre in my opinion, they could have been shop bought pancakes. We then said to the waitress, that something needs to be done about the chairs and she told me she had told a manager, which we were surprised, as he hadn’t come over to check after seeing the incident. She asked if we wanted to speak to the manager, which we did and when he came out we realised it was the gentlemen at the front desk who had seen it all happen. He gave an unsympathetic apology and there was just awkward silence. I wouldn’t recommend going here and whilst the poorly designed chairs aren’t the fault of the staff, the management and handling of situations are. No incident report was carried out, even with ample time to do so. I have added photos from pictures we took in the restaurant to now a few hours later.More
Another outstanding visit here where me and partner met with 2 of our friends All thoroughly enjoyed our meals and coffees - my friend had a mai tai cocktail which he said was outstanding We booked luckily and it was very busy - so definitely...recommend booking! Thanks for another great visitMore

Popped in for a quick light lunch so went for goat cheese salad and halloumi salad which were both very tasty, however ordered a dirty fries that had nothing to do with fries as these are usually called chips (within UK standards) so that completely...changed the opinion about food being served at the place. Also the fact of the one and the only draft beer available is not very impressive. So from nice 4* review I had to go down to 3*.More
Thank you for visiting and sharing your feedback with us. We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the goat cheese salad and halloumi salad. However, we apologize for any confusion regarding the "dirty fries." Your input is valuable, and we'll take this into consideration for our...More
Had a lovely brunch here with friends. Beautifully decorated inside and very bright and spacious. A large selection for brunch with usual favourites and lots of different options I hadn’t seen before. Opted for French brioche toast … delicious! The only reason for a 4/5...is that it took a while for our food to come out (it was a Sunday), but when my friends food did come out, I was then waiting 15 mins for mine which gets a bit awkward when others are eating. I’d go back again though, very tasty.More

Visited Fabrice for my birthday after seeing lots of reviews and recommendations online. I thought it would be a lovely treat but it was a hit and miss visit. I visited with my husband, dad and stepmum. The decor and layout is lovely. Seated along...the nice booths. Waitress had to check for several things we asked for on the menu because she wasnt sure they were available, like syrups. My husband had the canadian pancakes, i went for the french me a kinder, my stepmum had the american pancakes and my dad had the meditteranean breakfast. In terms of pricing, i think its overpriced. The meditteranean was priced fairly. But what i ordered was wrong, when it arrived i could have sworn it should have come with brioche as i wanted to try the brioche and thats why i ordered the french me a kinder but the waitress assured me it was right but i was looking at pancakes on my plate which im so gutted about. I also think the menu suggesting it comes with ‘mixed fruits’ is a bit of a stretch. I had x2 strawberries and x2 blueberries on my plate. All in all, it was just okay. We spent over £60 on pancakes and some teas. Not sure i will return.More

For a quick bite to eat, done the job. The staff managed to fit us in even though we didn’t book a table. Food was better than expected, eggs ( scrambled ) tad over cooked for my liking.
We appreciate your feedback. Your comments help us improve our service. We'll make sure to work on the scrambled eggs to better suit your preferences. Thanks for visiting us!

I called in for brunch on my own. Was warmly welcomed and given a seat by the window. The food and the service were both top notch. The coffee was also very good. I will definitely be returning and bringing my friends.

During our recent visit, I inquired about the rationale behind the inflated pricing of additional items. However, to my surprise, the owner responded with disrespectful language both in person and later in my review. 😞😳
Dear Farshad .....
Popped in with my boyfriend this morning as we heard that the breakfast was “REALLY GOOD”. On arrival we were told there was a 30 minute wait which wasn’t an issue for us. Both ordered two full english breakfasts and on presentation alone they were...shocking, egg was snotty and the tomato was not even cooked, there was a big black hair in my beans and after pointing it out to a waiter i wasn’t offered a new meal and they took my whole breakfast away and i didn’t eat. No apology was given and all the chefs had beards with no beard nets on. we paid nearly £40 and only one of us ate, massive let down and i’d evan recommend Weatherspoons over thisMore
