Lovely to return to The Grange following the lifting of lockdown conditions. Family trip and as ever the food was excellent. As today was a Thursday it was a banquet night and was fantastic value for money - £15 for a starter, main, rice, side dish and naan all of which can be selected from the full menu. Can't fault any of the dishes ordered. This restaurant always has a friendly welcoming atmosphere which is exactly what we want for a family night out. The main thing that never changes is the level of customer service you receive on every visit. Not our first trip to The Grange and won't be the last.

I brought an old friend from Luton for his first visit to the Grange. He was bowled over by the decor the welcome and the service. Then the food came, it was a wow from the first bite to the last. The service was speedy on a fairly busy night and everything was piping hot and delicious . My friend commented on the portion size neither of us could finish everything. Well done everyone we will be back again soon thankyou

We eat in and have take away, very regularly food is very good. I agree the delivery service is not up to much but if you collect the food is well worth the journey. The staff are very friendly and the Manager always remembers you. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. The drink prices are par for a restaurant which is always a bit on the high side. Still worth a visit.

Best Indian in MK.

Had a meal yesterday with a mate we do come here quite often as it is a very good Indian to my mind one of the best in Milton Keynes. The safety standards are very good the food excellent and the service second to none.Banquet days are the best to go as they are probably the best prices in MK food ordered off the main menu which is extensive which will suit everyone.

Great Restaurant

Staying locally to visit Bletchley Park, after researching local Indian restaurants we chose The Grange as their reviews were very good. Glad we booked as despite an early reservation the restaurant was very busy with lots of takeaway orders being collected. Excellent Covid safety measures in place, friendly, warm welcome from staff who were attentive but we never felt rushed during our meal. Would recommend the poppadum & pickle tray to kick off your meal it was so good, starters were excellent, mains a good portion size and very tasty. I had chicken pasanda, my husband had chicken tikka madras, the spicing in both dishes were spot on. One of our party had the tandoori salmon, a huge portion, cooked to perfection and would highly recommend. A very enjoyable evening and if we were ever in this area again would definitely return.

Great food, Great service

First visit to the Grange and it did not disappoint. The food was really good and they even personalised a curry for my father in law and he really enjoyed it. The customer service was the best I think I've ever had in a restaurant. Can't wait to go back!

Lovely people, but awful food.

We ordered a takeaway for pick up. Can't fault the service but the food was terrible. We ordered just starters, but every thing we had had no flavour or spice at all. On top of that, all the food was smothered in fried onion. Sorry to say, will not be ordering from The Grange again.

Loyal Customer .... feeling a bit let down

I booked for my birthday meal (something I have done for the last 5 years running). Sorry to say this is the first time I felt disappointed. The whole experience just wasn't the same, as usual. They always used to put a birthday balloon at the table and it was a really nice touch. This time, nothing, not even a mention (even though I said at time of booking). I feel the food is not up to the same standard either, bland bombay potatoes, butter chicken - not buttery at all, more like a washed out tomato sauce. The food was not all bad but it was hit & miss which I would never expect from The Grange. The drinks are very highly priced & although the banquet provides all the dishes you need for a blow out meal, the standards have dropped. Staff not as friendly as they used to be either. I still had a nice evening but will be choosing somewhere else in future. With things so tight financially for most of us, I think a place needs to tick all the boxes to win repeat customers.

Stay away - Real Indian food lovers

We are Indians (South Indian) and recently had a take away from this restaurant and i am sorry that none of the items that we ordered appealed us as a family. 01. Chicken Biriyani - tasted like yellow dried Saffron rice. 02. Fish Curry - no flavour at all and i could see that the fish is bit uncooked and see that it is straight taken from freezer. 03. The vegetable side dish is just a collage of some vegetables with no taste. 04. Duck curry is bit ok. We selected this restaurant based on other reviews and are thoroughly disappointed. The food looks fantastic, and taste awful.

Good service, great food

Turned up on my own for a late dinner and was absolutely blown away by the fish dish I ordered which was recommended by the waiter – can't remember the name, but it was medium spiced with green chilies. Clearly fresh, filleted fish. Perfectly spiced. Had a lovely conversation with the waiter afterwards as well, about the food and fishing in Bangladesh! Made me feel very welcome despite being alone. Thanks!

Superb Takeaway & Restaurant

I’ve been a sit-in customer several times and been a takeaway customer lots of times. You always get a genuine welcome whether you see younger or older staff. Good atmosphere in restaurant (also had air con, brilliant in scorching weather). They take into account anyone with, say, a walking disability and take the opportunity to ensure you are OK and have a comfortable seat and easy access. The customer service is consistently good. The food too is extremely tasty and orders are met accurately. I heartily recommend this Restaurant

Amazing service and food

Me and my friends went to the grange and had a great experience. We were seated very quickly, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They kindly gave us some extra dishes for free and said if we weren’t happy with the food, we could swap it for anything else. Food was great and you get good size portions too!

Not happy food was late even though i phoned really early to set a time to be delivered. Food arrived it was cold. The lamb was hard and chewy, everything was red no taste. Bombay potatoes as a starter looked like it just had tomatoe sauce just poured over it potatoes was just swimming in it. Not worth the money. Would not order food from you again.

Ordered takeaway tonight as my husband and I really wanted an Indian from one of our favourite restaurants but didn't want to eat out. We were not disappointed. The restaurant called straight away to check on the allergies noted on the order and were more than happy to customise the dishes. Food arrived piping hot and was up to its normal high standards. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

Great food and some more unusual choices on extensive menu

The restaurant is welcoming and attractive. We had a delicious meal and were assisted in our choices by the helpful owner/manager? We booked for 7pm when there were already diners in and by 8pm it was full, even on a Thursday! Even when full, it was not too noisy and had good ambience.
