We dined here today for Sunday Lunch, from the moment we walked into this very busy pub/restaurant we were made to feel welcome, although very busy the food was lovely we had 3 Sunday roasts and 1 veggie meal, all were delicious, The mushroom Brie Wellington was gorgeous. The service was faultless and a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely be back.... More

I have been to this place several times, I would recommend if you are going for dinner over the weekend then make sure you book. This place is lovely, the restaurant area is well presented and well set out. It's always a nice atmosphere and the staff are knowledgeable in their field of work. The food is consistently good and... More

I recently visited this restaurant with my now fiance for valentines day which also happened to be my 30th birthday and we enjoyed some fabulous food with a great priced valentines set menu with champagne or prosecco on arrival. The menu had something for everyone. It was slightly a shame it was a set menu because we didn't have the... More

This was my first visit here and what a fabulous place it is. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming, our pre dinner G&Ts were served in lovely balloon glasses and the menu is tantalisingly impressive. So much choice! Nobody (in our group of 10) was disappointed with their food choices. The food is freshly prepared with plenty of... More

Great selection on the menu but get there early as the favourites tend to go first. Home made scotch eggs are to die for and my steak was very we'll seasoned and so glad I didn't order a sauce. Very rare I do desert but when the food is good you just have to!

Firstly the food and drink is very good, we sat in the front bar as we had our dog with us, I phoned up the day before to reserve a table for myself my wife and my elderly father. When we got there a table had not been reserved, luckily we found a table, it soon became obvious that the... More

With visitors from Yorkshire & Sussex, we were a group of six and were warmly welcomed on Saturday night. It was clearly very busy, but we enjoyed great service from our waitress - who was cheerful, well informed and efficient and dealt with special requests and generally took an interest in us, to ensure we had a good time -... After some months of visiting my new grandson in Milton Keynes, yesterday we discovered the Swan Inn in Milton Keynes village, a delightful settlement where it all emanates from. We found an oldy worldy traditional building with a sympathetic dining room extension backing onto a large garden with parasols - looking forward to taking my family there this summer. Attentive...
