We went here for our wedding anniversary meal. After looking at the menu and the prices we were expecting great things but sadly the food was poor. I had trout pâté and a very average beef burger. My husband had an increadbly expensive meat platter,...More

My wife and stopped for Sunday Roast, she had the lamb and I had the beef. I became a bit suspicious when they were able to serve the food very quickly, not something you would ordinarily complain about acknowledging the meat would have been roasted...More

We booked a table/room here on a Sunday for my birthday. Firstly, it is not very clear on the website that there is no a la carte menu on Sundays. Only roast and a few other limited choices. We arrived early for our table (6.15pm)...More

Have eaten here a few times. The menu is quite varied and decent portion sizes. Good value too. Gluten free options available. Service can be a bit slow at times, but not a huge issue. Nice outside eating area.

First visit here after being recommended by friends. A nice location and great bar and restaurant. We sat outside under one of the many umbrellas. The menu covered all options. We had the fish and meat tasting platters which were well presented and with good...More

A very pleasant venue with plenty of tables both inside and out. It was good that they had a non-smoking area outside so we were able to enjoy our food without the smell of cigarette smoke which does tend to put me off from eating...More

Stopped off on a dog walk on a blazing summers day. Very welcoming and superb outside seating area. The drinks are expensive but locally made so can stomach that. Everything thing really good and then we ordered food...... The food was bland, easy to prepare...More

Like someone hadn't eaten them the days before, so refried. Very tiny fish! Food was poor. Nice place to be on a very warm evening but with that food - not surprised it was almost empty.

Went today for Sunday lunch and everything was excellent. I would say slightly expensive but you pay for what you get. The roast beef was perfect and the waitress was 1st class. The cheese board was in my opinion expensive for the amount although I...More

Description
The Tickled Trout, West Farleigh is a modern and stylish pub with 6 boutique hotel rooms and a fabulous fish themed restaurant with an Italian twist. It also features an impressive fresh wine and beer bar where our guests can eat or drink in a relaxed yet sophisticated environment. We are open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Like all our other venues, we pride ourselves on serving delicious wines, ciders and craft ales including those produced by our own winery Hush Heath Estate in nearby Staplehurst. Our beautiful boutique hotel rooms, with their own private entrance, are designed with comfort and luxury in mind and in the summer we open our sun filled deck and terrace 'al fresco' dining area which overlooks the large, landscaped garden, complete with children's play area. An outside bar complements this area and is a fantastic 'go-to' destination and meeting place to gather friends and family together.
